Train to Dinner

A unique Dining Experience

Mark your calendars and come out to experience the Train to Dinner when Golden Gate Railroad Museum and The Pacific Locomotive Association host this special event on Sunday February 24, 2013. You'll be served a selection of fine wines onboard the GGRM's luxurious Art Deco Lounge Car.

Experience the magic of this elegant Art Deco lounge, as it winds through Niles Canyon. Your trip on the Southern Pacific 2979 is aboard a vintage 1940’s parlor lounge car restored to its original layout, appearance and atmosphere. The car features plush lounge seating and a semi-circular mahogany bar framed by etched glass and mirrors.

A special dinner will be served at Bosco's Bones and Brew conveniently located across Main Street from the Sunol Depot.

Two seatings are available:

5pm departure from Niles.  You'll board our Art Deco Lounge in Niles for a leisurely ride to Sunol.  A short walk across the street brings you to Bosco's for dinner.  After dinner the train will wind back down the canyon.  Tickets can be purchased at

6pm Departure from Sunol:  Boarding in Sunol you'll have a while longer to enjoy the canyon. We'll bring you back to Sunol for your diner.  Afterwards you can stay and have a drink with Bosco in the bar.  Tickets can be purchased at
