on the 2015 Valentine’s Day Train on the Niles Canyon Railway.

when GGRM and The Pacific Locomotive Association host a Valentine's Day
Wine Train on Saturday, February 14, 2015. You will enjoy a selection
of wines and Hors d'oeuvres onboard this luxurious Art Deco Lounge Car
Wine Educator Steve Ferree will walk you through tasting a flight of
Livermore wines. Each wine will be paired with cheese and an hors d’oeuvre
selected especially for that wine. A Certified Wine Professional with
the Society of Wine Educators, Ferree has earned certificates in wine
from the Culinary Institute of America and the Wine & Spirits Education
Trust. He writes about wine for the online newspaper
and in his wine blog
Experience the magic of the elegant Art Deco Lounge, as it winds through
Niles Canyon on a two hour round trip ride from Sunol to Fremont and
return. The Southern Pacific 2979 is a vintage 1940’s parlor lounge car restored to its original layout, appearance and atmosphere.
The car features plush lounge seating and a semi-circular mahogany bar
framed by etched glass and mirrors.
The car is climate controlled for your comfort and enjoyment. For your
ease and safety, our volunteer car attendants will be aboard the car
to assist in boarding and detraining, and can provide any assistance needed during
