Ghost Whistles along the River

An SP Excursion on the Yosemite Valley Railroad

(GGRM Photographer's Special - March 27, 2010 8am – 12pm)
SP 2472 in the canyon
YV 330 brings up the rear - Will Whittaker - July 7, 1940

Join us as we open a window in time. The oak studded hills along Alameda Creek in Niles Canyon will be our backdrop for this fantasy excursion along the Merced River on the Yosemite Valley Railroad.

SP 2472 (closest thing to a Yosemite Valley ten-wheeler around) will provide the sounds, and the view from the rear platform of the restored Yosemite Valley observation car #330 will provide the sights.

Photo runbys will be staged for still and video photographers. This is a rare opportunity to get up close to big steam.

Seating is limited.  The memories will be unlimited.

All trains depart from the NCRy Sunol depot at
6 Kilkare Rd, Sunol California.
See http://www.ncry.org/map.htm for directions.

Sturdy shoes and long pants are recommended

Tickets are $65 per person.
Order online at http://ssw.eventbrite.com/
