The GGRM yard in Schellville will be fenced by our neighbor Arbor Fence company starting in late November. We have contracted for an 8 ft high chain link fence with security slanted barbed obstacle wire at the top. It will extend around the three yard on all sides with 20 ft wide track gates at the entrance and at the rear where the spur extends west to the Sonoma pacific plant. There are also three man gates on the south side.
GGRM director Chris Prevost did the leg work of negotiating the contract for the GGRM. Working with the neighboring Victory Station developer, NWP RR, and the other neighbor land owners and tenants he got agreements on the fence location and access gates. The 20 ft wide double gates meet PUC requirements for track gate clearance.
Jim Prettyleaf has found a contractor for electrical hookup installation work consisting of a PG&E drop to a meter box and underground installation into the yard. This work also will start in November.
