Golden Gate Railroad Museum
The Golden Gate Railroad Museum (GGRM) is dedicated to the preservation of steam and passenger railroad equipment,
and the interpretation of railroad history in the San Francisco Bay Area.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit institution EIN 94-2844499.
We are owned by the public for the good of the public.
We, the Board of Directors, volunteers, staff and membership, are simply custodians of this public property.
The membership oversees the staff and Board, while the staff and Board oversee the finances and equipment.
We all work together to ensure that we preserve the equipment as professionally and safely as possible.

GGRM members must complete and sign the
Release and Indemnity Agreement form
in order to participate in museum operations and restoration efforts at the Shellville site.
